Join our practical 3-week intensive program in Yerevan (Armenia) at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre - designed for young, aspiring Singers, Conductors, and Pianists/ Répétiteurs.
We will select 5 Pianists/Répétiteurs that will be alongside the guest coaches of NurOpera Academy, and pianists of the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre actively involved in the preparation of the following opera performances:
- 4th of August: Opening of the Festival, Concert version of the opera "Adriana Lecouvreur" by Francesco Cilea (concert performance)
- 7th of August: "La bohème" by Giacomo Puccini (staged performance)
- 11th of August: "Otello" by Giuseppe Verdi (concert performance)
- 16th of August: Gala Concert of the Academy Singers (with piano accompaniment by Academy Pianists)
- 17th of August: "La traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi (staged performance)
- 18th of August: "La traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi (staged performance)
- 19th of August: Closing of the Festival - "La traviata" by Giuseppe Verdi (staged performance)
All 5 pianists will perform at the Gala Concert, accompanying the singers of the NurOpera Academy.
- Lectures on Italian style with Vocal coach Massimiliano Bullo (minimum 4 hours)
- Sessions with Vocal coach Alexandre Naoumenko
- Lectures with Mariinsky Theatre Language coach (French & Italian) Daria Mitrofanova (minimum 4 hours)
- Leading preparatory rehearsals (individual & ensemble) with NurOpera Academy singers for the performances of the Festival & Academy
- Assisting in orchestral rehearsals of the NurOpera Festival & Academy performances
- Participation in the Gala Concert of the NurOpera Festival & Academy accompanying the Academy’s singers
- Active Participation (accompanying singers of the NurOpera Academy) in masterclasses with renowned singers such as Maria Guleghina (Meytargian), Vladislav Sulimsky, Veronika Dzhioeva
- Musical analysis session of operas "Adriana Lecouvreur", "Otello", and "La traviata" with Artistic Director of NurOpera Festival Migran Agadzanyan
- Musical analysis session of "La bohème" with guest conductor of the opera performance Arman Tigranyan
- Career Development, ‘Self-Re-Presentation’ Course with the manager Natalja Slobodyreva (Production of the Festival, Director & Founder of Meta Music International, Meta Music Academy)
- Opportunity to attend all rehearsals of the NurOpera Festival
- Video Recordings, Photos that will be made during the NurOpera Festival & Academy
- Promotion on the NurOpera Festival & Academy website
- Access and tickets to all festival events
- Visa assistance (if needed)

Auditions are open to Pianists/Répétiteurs, without any age restrictions.
Pianists should provide a video featuring a solo performance, along with an additional recording of an aria or ensemble from an opera. While not obligatory, it is recommended that pianists mark the entries and either sing or recite the text of the aria. This approach showcases their ability to accompany singers. The choice of repertoire for both the solo work and aria/ensemble is flexible.
